Ruffey Lake Park

Ruffey Lake Park is a sprawling urban park bordering Doncaster and Templestowe. Popular with families, joggers and cyclists, it’s a community hub and a meeting spot for locals and visitors to gather, picnic and exercise. Spanning 66 hectares, the park offers more than 6km of tree-lined walking paths, a lake, wetlands, boardwalks, shelters, multiple playgrounds, as well as off-leash areas for dogs.

Paoli Smith worked with Manningham Council to develop the placemaking strategy and upgrade the signage throughout the park. We delivered a comprehensive plan with design concepts for over hundred signs including entrance, regulatory, interpretive and wayfinding signage.
